The Advance 70 System is rigorously tested for appearance, dimensions, heat reversion to BS EN 479:1999, resistance to impact of main profiles by falling mass at -10C (cold impact testing) to BS EN 477: 1999, behavior after heating at 150C (heat ageing) to BS EN 478: 1999, resistance to weathering to BS EN 513: 1999 and weldability to BS EN 514: 2000.

Specifies test methods and acceptance criteria for enhanced security performance requirements for door assemblies.
An attack test standard for door sets which certifies that a particular door, frame lock and hardware set has withstood a series of physical tests based on common methods of burglary using defined sets of tools and attack time. This is the minimum police requirement for Secured By Design homes.
